Faces in the crowd
Each of them are unique
Every one of them
Sets them apart
Their interests, their hobbies, their background and their favorites
Movies, books, music, food
A wise man told me, “no two person are alike yet, we are equals”
As I think of what he told, I was dumbstruck
Through the hardships we faced, we are equal
I ponder.
Faces in the crowd
Languages are different are they can be
But, one phase express the same thing to the other
From Japanese to Arabic to Icelandic to English
Love has different expressions
From happiness to joy to laughter to a simple hint of a smile
But, they are all for making connections between people
Everyone is struggling on the inside or the outside
It is what makes everyone diverse
Friends helping each other out
Regardless of age, race, who they love, ability or their background
Regardless of the holidays they celebrate like, Christmas, Kwanzaa and Hanukkah
Where the streets have no name
Live simply
Vandish inequality
Embrace diversity
