Volleyball senior night

Lady senior falcons played all out on the court against the Roosevelt High School Rough Riders on October 3rd. Not only did the seniors play, but the underclassmen even played for the sake of their old, loving seniors. Attending this event was very colorful and enjoyable, having small and big sized balloons, decorated with red and white streamers, displayed pictures of their senioritis and underclassmen’s hand-made posters of their seniors on the bleachers. The last game had various emotions, and although the two lowest teams had won it was upsetting to see the main team lose such a fierce match.

Not only was it a competitive volleyball game, but to make the night more memorable, families, friends, and relatives came to reward and congratulate, give hugs, candy necklaces, hawaiian leis, and balloons for seniors. After the game, people from the bleachers came down and congratulated the seniors for their accomplishments over the season. The gym was filled with laughter and tears- some were cheery and others felt crushed after  losing their last game to the Rough Riders.

Also, the coaches had set up a slideshow for everyone, including families and friends of priceless pictures and silly videos of the seniors over the season. After  the slideshow, families of the  players brought food in and had a huge potluck. After a big game everyone needs a big dinner. The senior night ended really late and everyone was exhausted the next day from  staying late at the gym celebrating, knowing that it was worth it and that was one of the most unforgettable moments of their lives,
