The Lady Falcons defeated the Cougars on Dec. 27 with a score of 82-57, but the 25-point spread at the final buzzer hides a closely matched first half.

The Kalani Girls Basketball team struggled against Kaiser’s disciplined defense in the first and second quarters. At the half, Kalani led by one at 29-28.

Entering the third quarter, senior Kandyce Woods was electric off the bench and scored 10 points from inside the paint. Kamalu Kamakawiwo’ole (12) set her new season high, scoring 30 for the night, with 12 of her points coming from behind the arch.
