Kalani cheerleaders Naiyalyn Uratake (11), Shaylene Ishida (9), Kylie Omura (11), and Ashlyn Takai (11) practice for a preseason competition on Sept. 28 at Moanalua High School. The girls will perform a routine that they have been practicing since the start of the season in August. Routines are scored on performance, skill, and spirit.
