Vacant lots attract vandalism

Burnt-down building surrounded by trash occupies a vacant property on Kinau Street near Pensacola and Victoria. Different groups of homeless people had taken over the building and supposedly set the building ablaze on Sept. 3. The previous owner was also taken to court for the fire and for allowing homeless to occupy the site, according to police investigators, as it threatened many surrounding residents.
