On Monday, Sept. 16, MrBeast (Jimmy Donaldson), Logan Paul, and KSI (Olajide Olatunji) launched Lunchly, which purports to offer a healthier alternative to Lunchables, a classic grab-and-go snack that has been around since 1988.
Since its debut, Lunchly has gained popularity by offering a variety of meals that prioritize healthy ingredients without sacrificing the delicious taste of the alternative Lunchables meals. An example of one of the key ingredient changes is the Lunchly Pizza Meal, which features real cheese, contrasting with Lunchables’ processed pasteurized Cheese Product. Nutrition-wise, Lunchly’s version of the pizza contains 360 calories, 15 grams of fat, and only 12 grams of sugar, while the Lunchables pizza has 390 calories, 18 grams of fat, and 20 grams of sugar.
One huge feature of Lunchly is its beverage option, the one and only Prime Drink. Prime contains 10 grams of sugar in a 12 fl oz serving, compared to Capri Sun’s 22 grams of sugar in 6 fl oz. This healthier drink option is preferred by many.
“Oh, I would take Prime over Capri Sun any day. Capri Sun is so small, Lunchly is on top,” Dyson Murakami (12) states.
In addition to the Pizza Meal, Lunchly offers other nutritious options, such as the Turkey Stack Em’s meal, which consists of 230 calories and just 7 grams of sugar, versus Lunchables’s Turkey Stack Em’s meal, which contains 310 calories and 21 grams of sugar. The Fiesta Nachos meal from Lunchly contains only 10 grams of sugar and 9 grams of protein, while Lunchables’ version has 22 grams of sugar and only 7 grams of protein.
There has been an intense amount of feedback on Lunchly some mentioning the comparison of Lunchly to Lunchables.
“The cheese in the Lunchables Fiesta Nachos Meal is so gross and it sticks to the nacho chip like glue. When I dipped the Lunchly Fiesta Nacho chip in the cheese, the cheese dripped and flowed and was so delicious and cheesy,” Bradley Asato (11) states after consuming both. “What can I say? I like my cheese drippy, bruh.”
Showing this comparison and positive feedback for the brand-new Lunchly product shows how Lunchly is better than the original Lunchables.
Warner Ishii (12), another average snack eater, also expressed his preference for Lunchly.
“I hate Lunchables; it makes me feel so drowsy as if I ate a mountain of sodium,” Ishii says. “Eating Lunchly, though, doesn’t make me feel guilty about the amount of food I ate, I just feel normal.”
With Lunchly’s healthier meals and the backing of influential social media stars, MrBeast, KSI, and Logan Paul, Lunchly offers snack eaters a nutritious alternative to the beloved Lunchables. As people continue to seek healthier foods without sacrificing taste, Lunchly is undoubtedly taking the world by storm.
