Ms. Debbie is a new security guard at Kalani High School. Here is her interview.

Q: What’s your name and position?
A: Debbie Steverson, my position is security
2) Q: Why made you decide to work here?
A: My background in security but, I never worked at a high school before
3) Q: What you like to do on your spare time?
A: I like to keeping busy, I like to go to the beach. I like to paddle three times a week and go to the movies
4) Q: What year and where did you graduate high school?
A: I graduated 1978 from Castle High School in Kaneohe
5) Q: Were you involved in any extracurricular activities when you were in school? If so what were they?
A: I run track and field, played basketball during my time at high school
6) Q: What are your thoughts about Kalani so far?
A: It is a great opportunity and a good challenge. This is the first time I see a lot of teenagers! I hope I can be a positive influence to the students here

A: I’m Kaimi Makilan, I’m the security for Kalani HS
2) Q: Why made you decide to work here?
A: I like working with kids and keeping them on track
3) Q: What you like to do on your spare time?
A: I like to relax and “chill” with my family
4) Q: What year and where did you graduate high school?
A: I’m a 2004 Farrington High School graduate
5) Q: Were you involved in any extracurricular activities when you were in school? If so what were they?
A: No, I was not involved in any extracurricular activities when I was in school. I was a troublemaker when I was school.
6) Q: What are your thoughts about Kalani so far?
A: Coming from Mckinley, this is a great school with great people in general
